The elementary school that we built now has electricity. The dedication of the electrical project.
However, You take the good with the bad....but the major source of health information in remote areas is TV. The electrified store. One of the homes with electricity.
Jesus Romero, our local electrician, preparing to hook the school up to the power line. The matriarch of the community in front of her small store that now has electricity and cold drinks.
Ed Seeger from Kingsville/Corpus Christi, Texas wiring the school. Frank Condron, our electrician, wiring the school.
The community dug the holes for the poles and the power company donated the labor to install electricity in this village of 100 people. Prior to our provision of electricity community members depended on generators.
